Ground Shipping At ArizonaPottery.com, all merchandise is boxed to meet & exceed shipping guidelines, and packaged to minimize the possibility of damaged during shipping. Since 2000, we have been shipping pottery across the United States with minimal damage, so we feel like we have the process of packaging mastered. However unfortunate things sometimes happen. This is what we would like you to do: When your item is delivered, examine the outside of the package for signs of damage. If there are signs of damage, please take a photo if possible and then contact us immediately so that we can handle the damage claim. ArizonaPottery.com will reship the merchandise immediately. If you choose to file your own damage claim, then you will have to repurchase the merchandise. Please send the photo of the damage along with any other information so that we can file the claim properly. Keep the packaging materials for 5 business days after you notify ArizonaPottery.com. After 5 business days if you have not been notified that the shipping carrier would like to inspect the package, you may dispose of everything in any matter you wish. We would like to apologize in advance for any damages that you may receive. We understand how difficult it must be to order, wait for and then receive a damaged product. We do everything possible in our control to see that a damage doesn’t occur. Your happiness is our number one goal. Freight Shipping When shipping larger and heavier pottery, freight shipping is required and a new set of shipping guidelines apply. Please contact us at info@arizonapottery.com for more information. Should you place an order for an item that is not currently in stock, you will be contacted within 2 - 3 business days to discuss alternative ordering options Our typical processing for in-stock items can range from 2 to 10 business days for small packages and 6 to 15 business days for larger items. Your order is THEN shipped from our Phoenix Warehouse via the shipping method you have selected. Arizona Pottery does not guarantee a delivery date on any orders. We strive to process, package and ship your order as promptly as possible but sometimes there are processing delays. During our busy season (March through August) and Holidays we are working under a greater volume of shipments that may cause orders to be delayed. We appreciate your understanding in this matter. Any matters or special arrangements concerning this information must be discussed directly with our Customer Service Representatives. If there are any issues with the order such as credit card number, mailing address or missing information, we will try to notify you within two days via E-MAIL to resolve the issue. Our UPS ground, aside from being expertly packed, carries insurance against breakage. When you go to the Post Office, they weight it, check where it is going and charge accordingly. We do the same thing - as well as gather the items in your order and prepare them for shipping. Our shipping charges are based on how much it costs us to ready your order for shipping, how much it weighs, and where it is going. Calculating Shipping before Purchase Our computer software automatically calculates the shipping charges, therefore, if you place your items in the cart and proceed to the checkout process, the computer will give you the shipping charges based on the information you provide and what items you place in the shopping cart. This will be done before the need to input any payment information. If for some reason you choose not to place the order you can cancel it before confirming it. If you have any questions concerning this process, contact Customer Service.
