Rose are such a popular flower and there are so many types and varieties that it's hard to choose. They are also a wonderful flower to plant into a flowerpot and place around your landscape, patio or porch areas. Not everyone has a lot of space and if you live in a apartment or condo you are really limited in the amount of potted flowers you can grow. But, here are a few suggestions for roses in smaller planters.

Apricot Drift is perfect for garden containers because they produce soft apricot blooms that flower into fall. They usually only grow to approximately 3 feet high and are great of you are looking for ground cover with flowers.

Bulls Eye is a fun one to plant in to a flowerpot. It looks like a bull's eye target with its red center. These can grow up to 5 feet so even though you can put them into a container try to lean towards a larger planter if possible. Bulls Eye has a lovely fragrance so place the flowerpot around a seating area where everyone can enjoy its scent.

Tuscany Superb can grow up to 4 feet in height and tends to be rather bushy. A bushy plant into a garden planter is lovely and perfect for spaces outdoors that need some color and take up space. The colors are bold and bright and really delightful. Use a plain colored flowerpot or clay pot because these roses will add enough of a colored pop to dress up your patio or porch area.

Do a bit of research on these potted rose suggestions. Make sure you know how to keep them happy from watering to fertilizing. And, they in turn will delight you with bursts of color & heavenly scents.
