Our Frank Lloyd Wright Oak Park residence garden planter has so many wonderful features it's hard to describe. A large goblet-shaped garden bowl that has a lipped opening that is architecturally stunning. It tapers in and then blossoms out again ending in a large rolled rim. A square decorative pedestal base supports the bowl and gives the planter stability. Designed for his own home, Frank Lloyd Wright made sure these were amazing! Residential or Commercial. Made of 2 pieces the square base is engraved with a series of small vertical lines look like that striations in
wood grain. The textured sandstone finish is the result of the dry tap method of casting. Located in Oak Park, Illinois, next to the Frank Lloyd Wright studio, Wright's own residence.

These contemporary reconstituted stone containers are hand cast using a dry mix technique that incorporates concrete. Used in Europe for centuries, dry cast stone has proven itself to be durable & high-quality pottery.
This urn, the oldest of Wright's stone vase designs, was for his own home. Oak Park Residence, Oak Park, Illinois 1889. Each piece of pottery is authorized by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation Taliesin West, Scottsdale, Arizona and has been developed with the cooperation of the Frank Lloyd Wright Home & Studio Foundations and the Robie House Museum Properties of the National Trust for historic preservation. A portion of the sales of these planters supports the conservation and education programs of these institutions. Each planter is assigned a numbered Frank Lloyd Wright signature plaque to distinguish its place in the frank Lloyd Wright Stoneware collection.
