3.  Build two greenhouses, a root cellar, a trout pond, a fruit orchard, and several berry patches.  Last but not least, get a horse and cow for manure production.
4.  Landscape my backyard to look like my favorite high desert camping spot, complete with sagebrush, junipers, wildflowers, rocks, cactus and a small creek.
5.  Install an irrigation system to water vegetable gardens so they could get rid of a 250 foot garden hose.
6.  Pay off their house so they always have a place to garden and then buy the house next door and tear it down to expand their garden.
7.  Fill the back yard with birdhouses and feeders so that it would attract tons of birds to watch.
8.  Turn entire yard into a four season boulderscape - complete with a waterfall and babbling brook.
9.  Fill their 3 acre yard and garden with designer pathways, a hedge maze, rose beds, fountains, wind chimes and several seating areas - including a church pew!
10.  Purchase at least one of every single perennial that is hardy in that area.
11.  Pay someone to tend my landscape after I had the fun of selecting all plant materials and containers.  Mixing concrete, terra-cotta and ceramic pottery for color.
12.  Add a livingroom full of patio furniture on my patio with ottamans, end tables, outdoor lighting and umbrellas.  Then center it all around a firepit.
13.  Install a swimming pool the size of the nicest hotel in my area and have it loaded with water features.
